Working on the Railroad

Good Mornin'....
Hello...well what i read today was kind of weird & same time interesting. Why? For once who will have a job for 30 years as a railroad person. A person who works on a train, inside the train of coarse. To me i wouldn't be very satisfied w/ that kind of job, plus working there for along time. It may seem easy & simple to seat everyone & make sure they are going to where ever they are going. Its not really a career to have knowing that you work on a train for some train company & all you do is seat people & help w/their needs. But to me i won't like having a job like that. But to other people they do have a job like that, thats good. I wonder if that kind of job is what they really want. Anyways it was good to read.

E-Learning: The Anytime, Anywhere Option

Good Morin'.....
Wow its been awhile since i wrote something about what i read in the October article issue....well now is the day i write what i read...i read a four page story on E-Learning...it talks about takin' classes at home on the internet...would that be so cool...to me it is...stayin' home on the internet doin' your work...instead of bein' in a real classroom where you feel isolated...i feel that way sometimes...also you don't have to listen to teachers go on & on...you work at your pace & you can connect to teachers & other students...feel like a school but its at your own home...at the sametime they want to know if you are able to take classes on the internet...they want to know if your in need of flexibility...its sort of hard for someone who is distracted most of the time from do his or her work online...bein' distracted just ain't good...you gotta have the nerves to be into your work...you got to keep in your mind that your home but you are in school in a way...you know...well i thought the article was interesting & cool...

Remote Access

Good Mornin'.....
October issue i read a page or two about employee's or employer's working from their home once in awhile. But at the same time its not for everyone. Like young adults who are just starting out. Some say its a good opportunity to work at home then in a office, 'cause you are being trusted & have to carry the responsibility that comes w/it. I think working from home is a great opportunity to people who has been working for the job for many years. To me it shows that your boss trust you & all. Sometimes it can't be that, working in the city ain't pretty & easy. You got to deal w/traffic, waiting for the subway or train or even waiting for a taxi. See. Your money & time is spent in a way you seem to like. Thats my point. But yeah, working from home is cool. I hope i work from home one of these days. Would you?

Building Pages

Good Mornin'.....
October issue on Building Pages is about somebody having to keep up w/the latest stuff. Like Alison Walsh, she works as an associate producer for The N.com. Keeping up w/the latest stuff about shows or even the gossip between the stars seem hard. Your being responsible for what goes on behind the lines of telling stories. I sometimes wonder how people even get news that you haven't heard, until a week later or month. Its strange. To me doing this i can't imagine. Cause' it deals w/ research & a whole lot of stuff. There are other programs or sites that other people are doing, not just N.com. I thought this two page story was cool.

Protect The Digital Frontier

Good Mornin'....
The October issue in Career World is fascinating. Why? Because foreign people known as hackers are breaking into the U.S. governments web sites. Hackers are being caught & FBI Cyber Division thinks they were supported by the Chinese government. Not just that the Cyber Division arrested a 20 year old drop for being a member of a sercret society of hackers. I think for someone to be a hacker they got to be smart, right? Plus its costs they company who has been hacked lots on money & time. Forensics, drug busts & copying hard drives is part on the hacking. Just reading the article made me think real hard & positive. Like why do people do this? They know they are gonna get caught. So whats the point to destroy all computers w/a virus & cost the government lots money? Man its so weird that this goes on in our world & country. It was beyond raticle.

'Net Working

Good Mornin'.....
In the October issue of Career World i read about Net Working. I didn't know you can get a job over the internet or even looking for someone who wants a job. There are links to where people can find i job, i should say. Like Linkedln, Jobster & even MySpace. I couldn't believe you can use MySpace. Thats what happen to a muscian who wanted people to play in his band & guess what he used MySpace. Sure enough he found people to be in his band. Its strange how the internet can do the impossible thing. If you want to market yourself, asking people to leave a message, blogging it, but doing all this you got to be careful. Just reading this article i felt i know alot about the internet. You can create the impossible & turn it into possible. Us as people can do this, but all we have to do is put our minds to it.

Jacob's Cool Computer Program

Good Mornin'.....
In new October issue article i read three interesting stories. One was Jacob's Cool Computer Program, Web-Search Woes & The IT Factor. I likes Jacob's Cool Computer Program. Why? Well its interesting in a way cause' it stated that at age 5 he was writing computer programs. I think thats odd, & at age 8 he was taking computers apart & putting them back together. Very unreasonable like & amazing. Now days he repairs old computers & give them to people who don't have computers. Sort of turning ancient things to valuable things. But i like the way he does it, helping his community out & repairing things that aren't valuable to some people. He is one smart kid, tell you that.
