Keyed Into Health Care

Good Mornin'....
Tina Nesbitt has found a job by accident. She was going into emergency surgery after a serous accident. Well she was hospitalized she watched her nurses who have cared for her. Befroe the accident she wanted to get a job in a field of medicine. Fifteen years after the accident Nesbitt works in a real hospital now, she works from her home. Would that be cool. But a MT {Medical Transcriptions} skill is important can posses accuracy. It is known as a Career Choice to people who move frequently, live in remote areas & who prefer to work at home. Many medical transcriptions are needed out in the United States. Working in medical is a good thing to some people who like to work at home & who enjoys working for the medical.

Resume 101

Good Mornin'....
Career World magazine i read a two story about Resumes 101. Before you enter the real world, what comes to your mind? Me is, how will i survive on my own in the real world? Well when gettin' on a job what do you mostly need? A resume huh. They say its best to start well still in high school so you don't have to worry about it later on. Putting alot of information into a resume is good. But it has to be good information. Resume features are Essential & Optional. Any kind of job you have did while still in high school should all go on your Resume. No matter what. You got to know how to put it in a way where it more clear, right & knowing who your speaking to. For Editorial you gots to look for Proofreading, Have someone review it, Make it short, Use clean readable typeface, Be consistent w/headings, Print on good-quality paper & Save an electronic copy. When your all done soin' this you are ready to turn in your resume to any job career you look forward to. Good Luck!

Careers in the Great Outdoors

Good Mornin'.....
In the November/December issue i read a three page story on how the Great Outdoors is right for you. If the outdoors is something your thing well there is all kinds of opportunities out there. For instant would you enjoy working outside w/kids? Me not really. Yeah i love kids but outdoors really ain't me. There is some people who just love to be out & free. Not just that they get to hike, rock climbing & water rafting. Its keeping your inner self healthy & always keep you physical. You get to learn all sorts of stuff no matter what it is. It may seem out of the ordinary but look at it on the bright side. It keeps you open minded & absolutely keeps you in good shape. Oh i almost forgot you get to deal w/all sorts of animals. ain't that cool. I liked the story, it was very creative.

Working on the Railroad

Good Mornin'....
Hello...well what i read today was kind of weird & same time interesting. Why? For once who will have a job for 30 years as a railroad person. A person who works on a train, inside the train of coarse. To me i wouldn't be very satisfied w/ that kind of job, plus working there for along time. It may seem easy & simple to seat everyone & make sure they are going to where ever they are going. Its not really a career to have knowing that you work on a train for some train company & all you do is seat people & help w/their needs. But to me i won't like having a job like that. But to other people they do have a job like that, thats good. I wonder if that kind of job is what they really want. Anyways it was good to read.

E-Learning: The Anytime, Anywhere Option

Good Morin'.....
Wow its been awhile since i wrote something about what i read in the October article issue....well now is the day i write what i read...i read a four page story on E-Learning...it talks about takin' classes at home on the internet...would that be so cool...to me it is...stayin' home on the internet doin' your work...instead of bein' in a real classroom where you feel isolated...i feel that way sometimes...also you don't have to listen to teachers go on & on...you work at your pace & you can connect to teachers & other students...feel like a school but its at your own home...at the sametime they want to know if you are able to take classes on the internet...they want to know if your in need of flexibility...its sort of hard for someone who is distracted most of the time from do his or her work online...bein' distracted just ain't good...you gotta have the nerves to be into your work...you got to keep in your mind that your home but you are in school in a way...you know...well i thought the article was interesting & cool...

Remote Access

Good Mornin'.....
October issue i read a page or two about employee's or employer's working from their home once in awhile. But at the same time its not for everyone. Like young adults who are just starting out. Some say its a good opportunity to work at home then in a office, 'cause you are being trusted & have to carry the responsibility that comes w/it. I think working from home is a great opportunity to people who has been working for the job for many years. To me it shows that your boss trust you & all. Sometimes it can't be that, working in the city ain't pretty & easy. You got to deal w/traffic, waiting for the subway or train or even waiting for a taxi. See. Your money & time is spent in a way you seem to like. Thats my point. But yeah, working from home is cool. I hope i work from home one of these days. Would you?

Building Pages

Good Mornin'.....
October issue on Building Pages is about somebody having to keep up w/the latest stuff. Like Alison Walsh, she works as an associate producer for The N.com. Keeping up w/the latest stuff about shows or even the gossip between the stars seem hard. Your being responsible for what goes on behind the lines of telling stories. I sometimes wonder how people even get news that you haven't heard, until a week later or month. Its strange. To me doing this i can't imagine. Cause' it deals w/ research & a whole lot of stuff. There are other programs or sites that other people are doing, not just N.com. I thought this two page story was cool.

Protect The Digital Frontier

Good Mornin'....
The October issue in Career World is fascinating. Why? Because foreign people known as hackers are breaking into the U.S. governments web sites. Hackers are being caught & FBI Cyber Division thinks they were supported by the Chinese government. Not just that the Cyber Division arrested a 20 year old drop for being a member of a sercret society of hackers. I think for someone to be a hacker they got to be smart, right? Plus its costs they company who has been hacked lots on money & time. Forensics, drug busts & copying hard drives is part on the hacking. Just reading the article made me think real hard & positive. Like why do people do this? They know they are gonna get caught. So whats the point to destroy all computers w/a virus & cost the government lots money? Man its so weird that this goes on in our world & country. It was beyond raticle.

'Net Working

Good Mornin'.....
In the October issue of Career World i read about Net Working. I didn't know you can get a job over the internet or even looking for someone who wants a job. There are links to where people can find i job, i should say. Like Linkedln, Jobster & even MySpace. I couldn't believe you can use MySpace. Thats what happen to a muscian who wanted people to play in his band & guess what he used MySpace. Sure enough he found people to be in his band. Its strange how the internet can do the impossible thing. If you want to market yourself, asking people to leave a message, blogging it, but doing all this you got to be careful. Just reading this article i felt i know alot about the internet. You can create the impossible & turn it into possible. Us as people can do this, but all we have to do is put our minds to it.

Jacob's Cool Computer Program

Good Mornin'.....
In new October issue article i read three interesting stories. One was Jacob's Cool Computer Program, Web-Search Woes & The IT Factor. I likes Jacob's Cool Computer Program. Why? Well its interesting in a way cause' it stated that at age 5 he was writing computer programs. I think thats odd, & at age 8 he was taking computers apart & putting them back together. Very unreasonable like & amazing. Now days he repairs old computers & give them to people who don't have computers. Sort of turning ancient things to valuable things. But i like the way he does it, helping his community out & repairing things that aren't valuable to some people. He is one smart kid, tell you that.

Career World 411

Good Mornin'....
In the October article i read three pages about some short topics like....Mom is My Copilot, Lights! Camera! Action!, Passing On the Test, Jacob's Cool Computer Program, Web-Search Woes & The IT Factor. One of the topics really got me thinking, Jacob's Cool Computer Program. Where Do I Go With Biology?

Good Morin'.....
In the article Career World i read a page about biology & how it can relax your curiosity. There are different words that describe a postition on what a biologist does or can do. Its sort of creepy to me cause' i didn't know that there were are sorts of words that goes w/everything you see. For example, if you don't get what i am sayin' here a they are
Genetic Counselors,
Science/Technical Editors,
Environment Lawyers,
Nurses,
Science Teachers,
Pathologists,
Oncologists,
Immunologists,
Industrial Biologists,
Biotechnologists,
Bioinformatics,
Microbiologists,
Natural Resources Specialist,
Wildlife Biologists
& Park Rangers
. Jeez these are the biology's of what goes on in our everyday life & how it becomes easier.

Ecology By: Design

Good Mornin'.....
The article i read today talked about a 28 year old woman named Jenny Hwa who works as a designer in New York City w/three other clothing company as her a training. Hwa is into the environment & all. When she realized that the clothing company she was w/didn't design their clothes w/the environment. Idk but it was something like that. i think its kind of funny designing a clothing line using the environment. But hey look at this way its a good way to, caring for the environment & all. I think its sort if cool & funny.

Creativity? You? Yes!

Good Mornin'.....
I didn't read tis' article yesterday...so i am behind, don't mind my mistake. They say that creativity is important in any company & field. You know people who work in a hospital, agency that advertises & a bank. I don't think i have a sense of creativity in me on a daily basis. But i do have creativity here & there w/my family & mostly w/my homies/friends. Creativity is anything that deals w/how you feel & how you express yourself to people, w/in your job or your everyday lifestyle. Its best to be yourself than someone trying to tell you to by this & that. Express your creativity in anyway you can. Even though its a job, your lifestyle & w/your friends/family. Go beyond what you really feel like, if you do that then people will see how you really are when you step outside the box.

Major-ly Unique

Good Morin'....
The article i read in Career World talked about how you can get a degree or even a major by going to school for food, making toys & caring for animals. Don't you think thats a little weird? I do, because who would go to school for making food. Yeah there are people in school for culinary, but were talking about how someone can grow a farm & produce its goods. Well this is what the article had to offer. It was sort of confusin' & really didn't understand.

What's New, Interview?

Good Morin'....
Everybody goes through an interview, right? You know w/the manger. But have you ever got an interview by other four people? Now days you get interviewed by the manger & four other employer's that are trained to interview people. Employer's are going beyond the Traditional & making it more predictable for people who has had a job before. But for teenagers they are given the Traditional job interview. Here are the different types of interviews..........
A Traditional Interview is face to face & one on one. Still consider the most common type of interview, punctual, eye contact, answering questions clearly, asking questions of your own & be yourself personally. Doing a Traditional job interview is only given when it's your first job.
A Technological Interview
is having your interview over the phone & online. Giving an interview over the phone you need to find a quiet spot, stand up, & have your resume, pen & paper ready. Standing up gives you the chance to speak out loudly, more pronounced & you have a quick thought on what you want to say. Don't think that your chatting online w/the manager for fun, think of it as a face to face interview & you can't use emotions like you do to your friends [lol].
A Panel Interview is sort of like a Traditional interview, but instead of one person deciding, other people's input is included. Also it's to see if you can interact w/ your employee's & other people.
A
Working Interview is when you are at work for a day & your manger or employer sees how well you do than you are hired, that is known for as a job audition. But you don't get paid doing a working interview, plus you need to show up on time.
A Stress Interview is when the manger is rude or repeats the question over & over. But your job is to stay calm, always have a sense of humor & don’t become defensive. Showing that you are stressed out & have a anger problem you have a chance on not getting hired.
A Behavioral/Solution Interview is when you are asked different questions on your behavioral situations. Your anger problems & how you deal w/it & what is expected for you not to overcome the problem.

This was a very, well not very interesting article; it was the truth on how a person will get a job.

C.O.D-Careers On Delivery

Good Morin'....
In the article Career World, i read that havin' a job as a mail carrier. You know havin' a job for the U.S. Postal Service (USPS), deliverin' people's mail or being in a office seperatin' the mail. Different sort of jobs openin' w/in a USPS. I thought it was interestin'. I never know what a person will find interesting about being a person who delvers mail every single day. To me that seems borin' & a waste of time. For some good reason people enjoy havin' a job that implies goin' to house to house. It was some interesting information about havin' a job as a U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

Mapping Your Future

Good Morin'....
In the Article {Career World} i read that mapmaking is like painting a bridge, its faster & more precisely. The High-Tech Tools they use for this mapping is GPS known as {Global Positioning System}, & there is GIS known for {Geographic Information System}. These tools are very helpful when making a map of places they aren't mapped. They say you can map anything anywhere, for example road maps to the globe. History textbooks are being published to companies for making maps for them. Companies like Southeastern Reprographics Inc. {SRI}, produces maps for electric companies. Industries rely on mapmaking as well as other industries or companies. People who are into making a map give a advice on how you can become one, that's if you are interested. They say take many of geography, computer-programming & be good in algebra. Many middle schools & high schools are offering their students the chance to use GIS in science & social studies class.

Making the Grade

Good Morin'
In the article {Career World} i read about about a returning teacher name Zebulun Dinkins, a fifth grade Social Studies teacher. He wants to be a role model, which he is & just released his new rap CD. First day back at work was hard or scary for him bc all the kid's eyes were on him now. Being rap music into his teaching was creative & entertaining. He rapped in class for his students & his students said it was the coolest thing they heard. Time management is the part that surprise the students, like gettin' out of school. He gives out advice for future teachers that is, be passionate & making a difference.

Career World-pg. 4-7

Good Morning....
In the Career World booklet i read stuff like: Early Bird Loses Worm, By the Books, All Work & No Play, Reality TV, Auto Motivated, Ready to Get to Work? & A Fine Mess. They aren't a whole lot of reading to do, it's just in a paragraph or two. I would say All Work & No Play was interesting, because it talks about how the BOSSES enjoy their summer vacation, working. The difference between an employer, employee & a boss is very weird. They say that a boss really don't enjoy their summer vacation 'cause they end up working at the same time. For an employer & employee they enjoy their summer vacation w/out even working. Everything they said about how both an employee & a boss really do on their vacation.

My weekend..........
so far was good...had sum family over for a cook-out...went to a dance...went to town & mostly yesterday stayed home.

Saturday
..........
I went to town w/my older sisters, 2 little sisters, nephew & my mom. That day was going well until the afternoon, I was being some how. Went shopping here & there, also there had laughs here & there. My nephew & I were rest lest from walking around the mall, tired of laughing & it was so that we fell asleep when we were going home. Got home & had a cook-out for my sister & her boyfriend, we hot never met him so it was sort of like a welcome to a family thing. Had a very good time w/the whole family who was there, it was nice.

Sunday..........

I stayed home w/the family, really didn't do anything but just watch t.v. & listen to music, clean house & get ready for school. That is what i did for my weekend, oh yes my friend came back from California. I spent the whole day w/him, but he had to go back yesterday. I already miss him, felt like i visited him for only two minutes, i wish there was more time & that Saturday it went slow. Well that is it for the day, Good-bye!!!
